How does PetSafe Pet Screen Door work?
This is one tough pet screen door. It is made with high-impact plastic and durable mesh, which is puncture and tear-resistant. It also has 2 sliding locks, so you choose when your pet comes and goes. Your pet deserves a door that’s just their size.

PetSafe Pet Screen Door Directions:
- Install the PetSafe Pet Screen Door using the included instructions.
- Open the Pet Door - Slide the two locking tabs to the center until they are in the unlocked position.
- Lock the Pet Door - Slide the two locking tabs toward the outside frame until it is in the locked position.
Train Your Pet to Use the Pet Door - It may help for you to be on one side of the door and your pet on the other. Lift or tape open the flap and try to talk your pet through the pet door. After your pet has gone through a few times, allow the flap to touch your pet’s back so they will become comfortable using the pet door. If your pet will not go through the door, tape the flap open until they use it on their own. Do not use the locks until your pet is familiar with using the pet door. Try treats or toys to encourage your pet to go through the pet door and become comfortable using it.
