How does PetSafe Elite Little Dog Spray Bark Control Collar work?
This spray bark collar detects your dog barking and immediately releases a gentle burst of spray to distract him from the mailman or the neighbor’s cat. Your dog will never be corrected because of another dog’s bark or a loud outside noise because the dual detection technology in this collar must sense both vibration and sound before spraying. Because the spray is immediate and consistent, your dog will learn to associate his barking with a correction and change his behavior within 2 weeks.

PetSafe Elite Little Dog Spray Bark Control Collar Directions:
- Fit the Collar - Center the collar on your dog’s neck while he is standing. Check that one finger fits between the collar and your dog’s neck.
- To Loosen - Move the strap through the Slide Buckle, fasten the buckles and then pull down.
- To Tighten - Move the strap up through the Fasten Buckle, then pull through the Slide Buckle.
- Power on the Collar - Align the line on the battery with the down arrow on the collar, then insert the battery into the collar. Twist the battery to the ON position using a coin. The battery life can last 2-4 months, depending on use.
- Test the collar - Set the collar upside down on a flat surface and place the spray cannister over the refill port. Hold the cannister straight and firmly press down for 10 seconds. The collar holds 25-30 sprays and can not be overfilled. If spray leaks out while filling, repeat this step, pressing down more firmly. Hold the collar with the spray nozzle facing up. Place a quarter on the back of the collar. Ensure that the collar is placed so that it will not spray in your face. Rub the coin back and forth on the collar vigorously while blowing on the microphone. The collar will emit a spray stimulation.
- Continue with training before letting your pet wear the collar unsupervised.
Trim Strap - If there is excess strap after finding the proper fit, trim the strap. Place the collar on your dog, and mark the strap at least 2 inches past the buckle. Remove the collar and cut at the mark. Apply a flame to the cut edge to seal the end of the strap. Important: Leave extra room on the strap if your dog is young or grows a thick winter coat.
